What do you use to seal / paint on wood laminate?
Paint specifically on a skateboard deck wood. Is there some kind of clear paint to seal the paint on the wood permanently? If yes, what's it called?
Polyurethane work, but will have a yellow or amber tint to it. Even with a Varish spar or marine, but they offer greater resistance to moisture and a certain level protection against UV. If you want a coating with water that is sustainable, then use a water-based varnish acrylic. For a small project I probably use as a spray, available in glossy or matte. Many brands available as Krylon or Minwax Polycrylic.
