Please help, My in-built wireless adapter does not work on my Toshiba laptop?

I have a laptop toshiba satellite often used for networking wireless, but tonight I tried to connect and the orange light on the front is not lit, even when the wireless switch is activated. I also checked with the doctor and she said connectivity to the LAN Wireless is disabled. I'm using Vista and when I look at Device Manager I can only find real tek or something in Ethernet devices network, so I'm very confused! My router works fine as the Wireless light is on, so I'm sure it's a problem with the computer! Thank you!

It appears that you have lost the driver. This is not so uncommon in Vista, it seemed. Go to Toshiba website, they have all the drivers for your computer Portable. Download and reinstall after a reboot everything should work properly.
