When science fiction becomes reality
According to Wikipedia, science fiction is a genre of fan fiction that often involves speculations based on the current or future science or technology. There are many films of events, gadgets, creatures and people who are very unlikely meet, meet or occur in real life. But as time passes and science and technology continue to advance and improve, many elements that are considered to belong to the sci-fi are now coming to life.
Science-fiction's most popular elements are aliens. In this category we have ET The Extra-Terrestrial, Close Encounter and Independence Day. It is still unknown whether there is life on other planets despite numerous requests for UFO sightings, alien encounters, abductions and forget not the Roswell incident. Do not get excited yet. The flying car has not yet been tested but is expected to fly from London to Timbuktu at the end of January.
Last but not least, we have robots and artificial intelligence. There are many films like I Robot and Terminator, which have the metals held together with bolts and nuts in the future and behave like humans. It also happens to have in real life as the combination robot that can help people by lifting heavy loads and assist people with disabilities climb stairs and kitchen helper robot that can handle tasks domestic animals and robotics (especially dogs).
So far, it is not any machine Travel time – I have heard of – like in Back to the future and probably for the better, because any individual or country can to create a very likely use it to change history to their advantage or perhaps even make things worse.
A few days ago, a U.S. Airways plane that was caressing bird, an engine caught fire and crashed into the Hudson River. All passengers and crew survived. Everyone believes that through the pilot and hero Robert Bea who handled the situation surprising. Now if this was in a film, it was seen as a great plot, exaggerated and not likely to occur. Now he has, if the accident occurs in a film, people will say "Great as landing on the Hudson River." But the movie will not leave such a great brand in the minds of viewers because it has already happened.
I wonder if gathering the courage to throw their shoes at the world leader should be considered as a science fiction event occurs.
