Need help feed a telescope and a laptop from a 12V battery?
So I think the construction a small observatory in my telescope, but the biggest problem I have is the power. The observatory will be located away from sources of energy so that the simplest installation is to use solar panels and give me the power I need but I have no idea how long the telescope and a laptop computer could be powered. Power requirements are 1.5A and 12V telescope (but not draws more than 960mA). I do not know what the laptop needs, but it's a pretty generic laptop and probably consumes as much power as any else (but can be much higher). Thus, with a decent deep cycle battery 12V, how long this configuration? I'm not interested in solar panels for the moment, only the battery. Thank you!
