I have a 1889 Silver Dollar Morgan.?? i cannot find the mint mark?

i cannot find the mint mark? I however, found a 1 I think in a circle under the banner of Eagel did. that is significant or not?

The mint mark P for Currency Philadelphia has not been used on the currency at the beginning and still is not on the penny. The one dollar coin first with a mint mark P was the 1979 dollar Susan B. Anthony. There is no mint mark P on Morgan or Peace dollars, no mint mark means it was struck at the Philadelphia Mint. N (P) mint marks until 1979.
