Where can I get money for my old coins?

I am a collector of ancient coins, my pastime. I want to know where I can go online to get money from my old parts. For example, I have a 1938 Walking Liberty half dollar? Any line where I can find its value (current date) and sell to people? Thank you for the help, happy new year!

You can get the values obtaining a current copy of the magazine CoinValues in a local bookstore. You do not mention the grade of the '38 Walker. As a collector you know the state Medal is essential to assessing its value. Unless the parts are certified by a third party grading services almost all world will want a look at the pieces and those with only moderate experience will want to look at parts even if they are certified. My suggestion would be to take them to a coin dealer or a club of local currency for sale. You can get more collectors club rooms as you would in a shop.
