What are children learning toys recommended for some children with ADHD and behind the stage of development?
I been considering getting a Leapster for that child or a toy that helps them learn to read and pronounce words correctly. I try find the best toys to help without spending a fortune. Can anyone make suggestions? Thank you!
It is difficult to know how you advise without knowing the age of your child, but being a mom 17 (almost 18) years with ADHD I can say some things. Even if people say often "Do not let them near computers !!!", I do not agree. My son is playing really improved computer games (level Education). good games are those that ask your child to solve problems, such as "Pajama Sam" or "Putt Putt Saves the Zoo" is above all, there is an element of play of the game series begins Jump are good for younger people. I agree that reading, reading, reading them essential. Often these children are intelligent, but who need to HEAR them read the information, as opposed to reading themselves. My son as a vocabulary very large (and he started young) simply because we read and talked to him a lot. And last but not least, a trampoline! is very good, to help find an outlet for all the excess energy, and mass of the child so they can concentrate better. I hope this helps. My child with ADHD is a charming young man. While it was exhausting sometimes as young, life was never dull!
