What are the best games Leapster / cartridges get?
My son is 4 1 / 2 and I'm getting him the Leapster L-Max for Christmas. I want to get an assortment of games but do not want them to overlap in what they teach. Can anyone who has a lot of them tell me the best four games I could get that would teach a little of everything and have fun? Thank you!
My son is 5 and had the Leapster (not LMax) because he was 3. He now has 12 cartridges (older). Those he loves most (and plays with the most): 1. Kindergarten 2. First degree 3. Spiderman (he's a Spidey big fan) 4. Spongebob (idem) It was also the cartridge Batman but it is too late for him now: he was not able to "unlock" games, except for the first .. Other: Nemo (who played with a lot when Nemo was his favorite movie, but no more), The Incredibles (advanced for a child 5 years old), Dora (reproduced most of the techniques taught in the cartridge that comes default with the Leapster), Mr. Pencil (not forgive if small children are not precisely trace the lines), Math Baseball (not played) and Letter Factory (good if you son does not know his letters and sounds yet). BTW, I heard "Letters on the Loose" is good for kids pre-K learning their sounds. My son did not do that, but the reviews I read say it is a great game. The recent "Cars" game also has good reviews for Pre-K / K and I am preparing for it.
