Little Leaps Learning System: the purchase of dollars?
They http://www.amazon.com/LeapFrog-10210-LITTLE-LEAPS-PLATFORM/dp/B000EIV1OM/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=toys-and-games&qid=1219537777&sr=8-4 apprenticeship system in small leaps at Walmart for $ 20 and games are only $ 7.50. I do not read good things about Amazon, but I thought I would get the opinion of the YA! Posters .. should I do for my son or something?
We have one of these – it is sitting on a shelf unused. I think someone did bought for my daughter for her first Christmas (she was just nine months) and she is almost 2 1 / 2 now. She has never shown any interest at the time and she really cares about now. She also has a little Touch Leap Pad it was in the same time – do not worry about that either. My personal opinion on these things is that there is no reason for them. Children enjoy sitting down to read an ordinary book with Mom or dad as much or more and a book is less expensive. I just do not really like all the electronic toys. We have a lot more fun with blocks, a puzzle, or a ball that we do with a laptop toy (yes it has one). They have so much time on their hands to watch TV to watch cartoons, then all other stuff, I'd take that $ 20 dollars and spend a few blocks from Nice. It will take more than pleased with them, I would bet.
