Can I use the Haan steam mop a floor made of foam, like a gym?
I want to get the flooring for my padded foot newly son so if he falls he will not be on the floor. Can I use the steam mop on it? T he, melt or emit chemicals in plastics bad? If this is the stuff that I think it is, it should be good with steam MOP. Just do not leave the head in one place for a long period or it could melt. Better yet, try it on a spare part or on the back of one of the first pieces. Yes, steam is hot but not hot enough to melt anything if it is not exposed for a long period of time. Sam's Club has a system that looks great and that stuff is really dense. And your precise specifications of the product that is waterproof, so you're there. Personally, I think Steam is a wonderful how to clean. I certainly would not spray Lysol around and call it clean. At a bare minimum, I'd mop with white vinegar and water with a microfiber cloth. Microfiber cloths take the nooks and crannies better than anything else. The little guy would put his hand in everything Lysol spray the building and go hand in his mouth and he did a lot of chemicals.
