What's up with Fisher-Price Brilliant Basics Baby's First Blocks Review on Amazon?
My baby (Bam Bam Squirrel, my stepdaughter has appointed) will be busting the world shortly after Valentine's Day 2010, and I want to make sure it has some great educational toys. I read it at Amazon convinced me to get rid of Fisher Price Brilliant Basics Baby's First Blocks gift idea.
What made my decision? A study toxicity.
Now I know that Fisher Price is Numero Uno in Kids' toys department, especially for children's toys (although Perhaps Playskool cuts closely. Or perhaps Playskool is prime. What the heck? It was elbow to elbow.) But they screwed up on this one.
I do that the Fisher-Price toys are toxic. But if you read the test, you will see that there was a warning on the Amazon. Com product page for the toy infant above. (It is currently the most recent report.)
The review continues to mention the efforts of the analyst to get to the bottom once he noted the opinion of toxicity has been removed. Just click to read the baby First revision blocks.
Now, for me it's really not like a horrible toy. I know how an educational toy Forms can be for young developing minds. And like all good gifts education programs for small children, it comes in multi-color mode.
But I know that my child will be chewing on it, and if there is even a suspicion of toxicity – well, I prefer my child just a few snacks Gristle old dog.
This is the problem of managing a blog review of toys, sometimes. You see a toy award (awarded literally) by a trusted manufacturer and you want to review your blog because you know she will make people happy and make you some money.
But I can not in good conscience, promote something that could be toxic – even if the warning has been somewhat in error (as the report indicates that the Amazon and PS trying to imply).
Also, if I sent parents off to buy a toy that can be toxic, do you really think these people will never want to buy something in my relationship, ever, at all? Probably not. And I would not either.
Someone recommended me to promote the Fisher Price toys. But instead, I decided to go Tolo Toys with the replacement, which is actually a sphere, and probably better anyway (for reasons explained right here.)
