Which character meals Disney World is the best?
We want our 5 and 6 year old boys experience a character meal during our stay at Disney World. I am leaning towards the Pooh and Friends breakfast at Crystal Palace. Which dishes would you recommend and why?
If you are only interested in the breakfast? because Disney has a ton of character meals for dinner too. The two that we really like are: 1) Head Mickey's Contemporary Resort in the. It is so crazy and fun, the characters are Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto and all dressed in costumes of the head. Breakfast and dinner all buffet style and are very good. Each half-hour, a song comes along and they go around singing and dancing and get people involved towels twirling in the air, and if you do not look you may get Donald or Goofy in your face, letting you know that you must do …. lol. 2) The other I really like, but it is open for lunch and dinner is freedom Tree Tavern in the Magic Kingdom. There is an atmosphere much calmer and the interactions between the characters is impressive. We went for lunch and absolutely loved it …. Dinner is family style and if you like Thanksgiving turkey and all the trimmings, you'll love this place. The characters are Minnie, Chip and Dale, Goofy and Pluto and they are dressed in colonial fashion. We went to Crystal Palace and for dinner and thought it was okay, we loved the characters because we're all big Winnie the Pooh Friends and fans, however, food was okay and the atmosphere was noisy and not very fun. There are so many choices of meals at WDW character, try allearsnet.com to go and check out each of their menus …. that may help you decide. Good luck.
