Movie toys from the 1970s?
Does anyone remember a toy movie from the 1970s? It was made of white (or white) plastic and held in the same way you hold and old style camera. You look with one eye and turn the crank on the side. You can insert "cartridges" to the extent that late and watch movies that were just maybe 30-60 seconds in length depending on the speed you turned the crank. You can even turn the handle clockwise and watch the movie backwards. There was no "sound" for the film ….. the flicker of the toy (which recalls the sparkle of a film projector). The movie I can remember looking at this toy is a version Abridged Disney short, "Lonesome Ghosts." What this toy called?
Fisher Price movie viewer, 1973 vintage film I remember the ghosts were too. Mickey, Donald and Goofy were Ghostbusters and ghosts were pranks on them. You Can Play movies in any what speed, forward or backward. No batteries required. Mupi is the guy who made later. same thing, but a strange European or Japanese packaging. The toy was GREAT. We had some great toys. Vertibird was another great.
